Oxford House Chapel, Bethnal Green

Oxford House was built in 1884 as a university settlement for the East End poor, and its original chapel in the  Jacobean revival design is accredited to the architect Arthur Blomfield.

Work included interior conservation clean of vaulted ceiling and panelled walls in order to improve on localised staining, discolouration and general deterioration as well as replacing missing fretwork screen, sanding and polishing floor.
