This commission involved the design and carving in Lime wood of 8 individual carvings that perform the function of capitals ,being set into the bay divisions of a number of bookcases in the Library of a new home of a private client.
The client has an interest in Art, particularly Chinese Art. The House is a new build project and is set in grounds where new Vineyards are being planted, with this interest of wine and wine making reflected in the carving
The Artists involved on this project were Sigridur Sigurdardottir, Paul Wakeman, David Mendieta and Mark Sands.
